Redevelopment of Industrial Land to Luxury Residential Condominiums

 S. T. Hudson Engineers has been providing engineering consultation for the Waterfront Square project since 1999. The Hudson family has designed and constructed waterfront structures, terminals and facilities along the Delaware Valley’s waterways for over 100 years. Hudson's team of professional engineers and divers surveyed all of the existing structures at this facility. Our clients' investment in the Philadelphia Waterfront has become a catalyst in new development along the river, in both the private and public sectors.
Our firm, under the Pennsylvania Land Recycling Program (ACT 2), has conducted Preliminary Environmental Investigations, Site Characterization Reports, Notifications of Intent to Remediate, and Clean Fill Certifications under PADEP's New Clean Fill Policy. Additionally, we are collaborating with the property owners, their lawyers, and all government agencies to complete a Risk Assessment Report for this development. The result of this entire process will be the submittal of the Final Report to the PADEP releasing the owners from all environmental liability, transferable to future owners.
