OUR MISSION & VISION

To be the premier marine engineering, procurement, and construction management firm, committed to excellence through integrity, expertise, and relationships.

A Family Venture From the Start

With roots stemming from the 1800s, S. T. Hudson Engineers, Inc. was established in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 7, 1967 out of a dock construction business. The journey began with Samuel T. Hudson Sr., who moved from being a carpenter and dock builder to becoming a major stockholder in the company in 1916. Over the next several decades, the family-operated business honed their expertise in advanced marine engineering, and in 1967, Samuel T. Hudson II, P.E. established S. T. Hudson Engineers, Inc. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Today, Hudson operates out of Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Houston, Texas, bringing expert marine structural engineering services to companies throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. We are known for developing innovative and cost-effective designs for new construction and the rehabilitation of all types of port and marine terminal facilities, including piers, wharves, loading platforms, mooring structures, and bulkheads.

For more than 52 years, we have cultivated relationships built on trust, dependability, and excellence, and we look forward to continuing to serve clients for years to come.
